Launched in 2020, [Mov] is a philanthropic memorabilia platform that connects athletes and fans through charitable auctions, using exclusive collectibles to drive social impact. During the 2020 NBA bubble season, Chris Paul—an outspoken advocate for the Black Lives Matter movement and HBCUs—partnered with Mov to launch a sweepstakes for 12 pairs of his custom game-worn sneakers. All proceeds were donated to the basketball programs of each HBCU featured in the campaign.

CAMPAIGN SUCCESS
With a 1.5-month lead time, I orchestrated my team in product procurement, photography, and digital asset creation for social media and in-app use. This included scripted social posts on Chris Paul's channels and promotional posts on Mov's platforms. Given the company's size at the time, I personally developed all visual assets for social media. The campaign successfully energized
the community, creating a meaningful impact for 12 lucky fans and the associated HBCUs through our social initiatives. With zero marketing spend, Mov’s platform outperformed a leading industry competitor backed by the NBA. The success of this initiative directly contributed to Mov securing a memorabilia licensing agreement with the NBPA.
THE APP EXPERIENCE

I designed the UI and led a team of back-end developers to successfully launch the app ahead of Chris Paul’s campaign.
The goal was to create a seamless, frictionless experience for fans to engage with. With just two clicks, users could enter sweepstakes to win exclusive pro-athlete memorabilia.
Mov also allowed fans to follow their favorite athletes, receive personalized messages, and hear directly from them about the causes they supported.
